Antique 9ct yellow gold glass locket from 1916 - 1917. This locket features two pieces of glass in a 9ct yellow gold frame, the bail at the top of the piece unscrews allowing the two pieces of glass to be removed. The locket has decorative pieces of material held within the locket, this can be easily removed and a picture, piece of hair, drawing or another piece of material could be placed here.
The locket has a number of hallmarks indicating the piece was hallmarked in Chester, England in 1916-1917 set in 9ct yellow gold by maker GEB.

The locket measures 4.1cm / 1.6" in diameter, the piece hangs from a new 18" 9ct yellow gold chain.
CONDITION
Very good, the decorative bail has a small fracture caused by the age of the piece.
